The foreign-born (FB) population increased from 261 in 1970 to 8,898 in 2010. That was an increase of 3309.2 percent. The foreign-born share changed from 0.3 percent to 5.6 percent.
The share of the overall population that was native-born (NB) increased by 69.4 percent.

The first chart below shows the three population change factors for three periods adjusted for annual average amounts. Domestic migration (NDM) was was the primary factor in population increase in the first two periods, with that position held by B-D in the most recent period.
The second chart shows the same data but with an adjustment to reflect births to immigrants shifted to NIM. In it, NIM became the major source of population increase in the most recent period.
